Niwi This is when the sea lions frolic in the channel near me, making a cacophony while they eat herring and have sex! It is very loud, but I would fit in perfectly (except I’d be huddled on the beach with a blanket!) We have a dusting of snow this week ... the first of this season. Indeed it is upsetting to know people are coping with such extreme cold! It is exactly the same here when we have just a little snow. Suddenly people drive into ditches, or forget and apply brakes when going up a steep hills. This always results in various vehicles going sideways and crashing. I rarely drive in large cities these days ... I doubt I have the nerves for it anymore! ❤️

The weather is high and low (reasonably high for winter). We had snow end of January but not that much comparing to your area or to Chicago for instance. Just enough to stuck cars and public busses, to make me nervous to drive, and to make people slip and fall. It's all melted now and today was a sunshiny day. xo Incogneato
Niwi I am very whiney and complaining of this dreadful cold. Did you know I can bark like a seal? The dogs find it quite entertaining. I understand the UK is getting record lows and snow ... is it the same for you? Take heart ... the flowers and birds will soon return! ❤️
Niwi Such an intriguing piece ... makes me wonder who is being rescued! I listened to a program about divers bringing up plane wreckage from 60 years ago (in a northern lake.) Despite the air temperature being bizarrely cold (-40C) the water temperature rarely fluctuates from season to season (a chilly -2!) Hope you are well. ❤️

Hope so !! It's still raining here !! This is a huge storm that has affected So. Cal with torrential rain, flooding and strong winds. From what I have seen & read, most of America is dealing with rain or freezing weather !!
