my last keystone species of 2024 just made it (next up the new years wishes don't worry)
I was thinking about Australia being the first one to ring in a new year and so I wanted to add a happy note from nature. The Red-tailed black cockatoo is chatty and social. They live (mostly) in coastal Australia. Have a special spiritual meaning to the aboriginals.
They provide food and regenerate the forests they live in
