Niwi ~ I know you will do whatever it takes to keep you and those you are in contact with safe. So far I have not heard of anyone in my neighborhood that has the virus or any of their family or friends. We Seniors tend to do the right thing and honor the experts suggestions for safety. Keep me posted on your transition back into the real world of work !! Keeping positive thoughts for you and Yours !! Hugs !!
I'll do my best to stay safe sweetie. French are rather good pupils with the safety mesures, though there always are situations hard to deal with (rush hour in public transports for instance). I'm happy I don't have to use them.
I've heard about this US movment and it really sounds surreal.
We almost lost one of our neighbourg with this virus. She was brought in coma to intensive care unit connected to an artificial breathing machine during 3 whole weeks. She survived but she's been on the hedge. She stayed isolated, but her husband had to go to work outside... and we all have to go outside for grocery, etc.
Regarding those idiots all over the world (not only in the states), I really wouldn't care it they play russian roulette but I'm so upset they may be a danger for other people too.
Hugs Vero !! I will be thinking of you and hoping that when you do go back to work you will be safe. We are getting reports that if countries open up to soon there can be another outbreak. I haven't been watching what is happening in France, but here we have a lot people refusing to honor the safety measures by claiming they are being denied their rights of Freedom and Choice. Such idiots here and if they get the virus will blame everyone but themselves. So Sweetie be safe even after you go back to work in person !! xoxox !! Niwi
Yes it is a luck ! Happy to know they are ok and still in contact with you.
The week-end is fine but almost over. Tomorrow the official end of confinement here, under conditions. I'm still working from home next week, and probable the week after.
Hugs sweetie ! xoxo
Awww !! Thanks !! I got a call from my Aunt Jeana this afternoon and it was so lovely to talk with her. She turned 90 in April and lives in San Antonio, Texas near her son. My other Aunt, Tiny who I talk to quite a lot turned 89 in March and she lives in Chico, a 2 hour drive north of me. The two Sisters are the last of the Family on my Dad’s side. I have no relatives alive on my Mom’s side. Her oldest sister died in 2016 2 years after my Mom and her 2 other sisters died prior to Mom.
Anyway I’m thankful to have my 2 Aunts, plus Uncle Jim [ Tiny’s husband] around for however long time they have.
Hope your weekend is wonderful !! Niwi
