20 JUN 2019 ~ There used to be a Jazz and Blues Joint in Old Folsom. One of the main draws for me was the open air entertainment in the summer.
I can't tolerate a smoke filled room so it was perfect.
It closed after the owner and Jazz Musician passed away.

@peewee PV Niwi ~ Hugs !! I wanted to use the colors in the dress !! It is sad, because the owner was a fabulous Musician and he had some really great artists come and perform !! The building still exists, but it's now an antique shop and the outdoor entertainment area is now a parking lot. Wouldn't Ya know !!! =(

Thanks so much Sweet Friends !! Michelle858 ~ Never went to Folsom Prison for anything, it kind of gave me the creeps !! Yes, there are quite a few businesses still there, I am always drawn to Dorothea's Christmas Shop and Snook's Chocolate Shop, especially when I have my Munchkins with me !! For being a small town, it is easy to get lost there !! Incogneato dgia
Kate, this is such a wonderful outfit ! You've struck a great memory of Folsom for me. Firstly, getting lost driving in Folsom was scary for an 18 year old LOL. Secondly, the wonderful memories of antiquing and the great ice cream parlor there ! I think of Folsom every time I see Depression Glass ! P.S. The art show put on at Folsom Prison was always interesting. Not sure why we would go to it, though LOL !
