Tripitena's Song - Lou Reedhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WDJ_X0Rqhsk
Perhaps this is disingenuous on my part. My days of questioning identity are behind me. I expect growing old along with loss will resurrect these insecurities.
Maybe during these years I am finally able to know who I am, and enjoy small pleasures and experiences. I certainly know what I am not!
Forgive my ramblings old friend (as I hope there are still a few of you from long ago hanging around the ether.)
Niwi Thank you dear! elenaviola Thank you for your insights and kind comment. I find myself not interested in the past, attempt to halt fear about the future, and try hard to be just as I am. Animals help ... they live in the now! Thank you again!
Oh dear! In time we all become more philosophic and get along with many things. Everything is percepted and felt not the same way it used to be. Just don't forget to be optimistic and value every day you live! And... very beautiful creation
with deep sense!
Contemplative and thought provoking. We spend a lifetime trying to figure out who we are. I think for me my identity has changed with the decades - wife, mother, employee . . . and now I am morphing into somebody else, somebody better (hopefully), more at peace with myself. Freer. You're never too old to reinvent yourself.
Tellement beau et créatif. Une véritable pièce d'art qui appuie à merveille la si belle chanson de Lou Reed (dont je ne connaissais que "Walk On The Wild Side"). - So beautiful and creative. A true piece of art that perfectly supports the beautiful song of Lou Reed (I knew only "Walk On The Wild Side"). ☆
