13 MAR 2020 ~ it's amazing how the sunflowers literally follow the Sun. You can almost see them moving as the Sun moves across the sky. Not the prettiest flower, but, a Happy Flower !!
It's fun to take a stroll down memory lane ! Elliotts & Safeway are still here, but the others have gone bye, bye. Since I never got hooked on Sunflower seeds I didn't know they came unshelled. Too late to start eating them now !! LOL !!

Kate, I used to shop at Elliott's (Natural Food Store) all the time in Sac. I miss Ralph's and Safeway, too. We do have some good natural food stores and supermarkets here, though. I remember Albertson's, too ! And Cal Worthington and his dog Spot ! LOL ! Memory Lane :D LOL ! P.S. I buy the seeds already shelled - makes it too easy to eat a lot of them.
