this intelligent little thing is keen on pine trees (especially the cones). They are however best known for collecting nuts from trees and burying them. They do not eat all of them however which amounts to squirrels being tree planters
They must always gnaw on things because their front teeth never stop growing and they must keep them short. Which is why some people don't like them (if they live in a garden)
