@Niwi ~ Panic is the perfect word to use on how I feel too !! At this point there is no direct train service to S.F., though it is in the works !! I am not a fan of buses, but would use them if that was the only thing available. If I ever need to go in to the city again I'll make someone else drive !! =)
@Renita ~ Hugs Sweetie !! Yes, S,F, is a great place to visit, but don't try living there, the housing is off the charts !! That's why there are so many bedroom communities around there, no one can afford to live in the city. Sac housing is also over the top, but, definitely not as bad as S.F. or San Jose !!
The picture did it!! LOL I have a very dear friend in San Jose, we were there visiting two years ago and plan another trip soon. I love California! San Fran was a great place to visit! i have a brother in Costa Mesa, love that area as well.

I live 90 minutes from S.F. and I won't drive there anymore !! We don't have direct train service from Sacramento to the city, but, it's in the works !! Thankfully I don't have to go very often !! The picture in my set is deceiving since it is of NYC with the famous Yellow Cab !!

I just read your description. I only live an hour from NYC! I take the train from Beacon. I'm retired now so I only make the trip for pleasure, makes it much nicer. I love having dinner in the city!
