Aww, Thanks Vero !! I spent Friday with my Friend Lois and her Daughter Jeannie (from Seattle, Washington ) hanging out and then Lunch at our favorite Mexican place " Felipe's". We had a break in the weather and had a little sun with brisk winds, but at least it didn't rain, just threatened too. Jeannie comes down to visit her Mom and to get away from the rain, but, this time every West Coast state was rainy. We had a good visit any way !! Have a super Saturday Sweetie !! Niwi

Incogneato ~ Since I have only lived in California, our coats are not like those in truly cold states or countries !! I had a co-worker that moved to here from New York State and she showed me her Winter coat. There is definitely a difference in weight and insulation. Gortex items are popular here, since they are basically waterproof, lightweight and will keep you reasonably warm. That's where layering comes into play when wearing a Gortex coat or jacket.
