Keystone species 33: owls- combinação de moda
At last here they are: owls.

These three eyelided birds (one is for sleeping, one for blinking and one is to keep the eyes clean) sort out population control in any forest that they call home. Their varied snacking habits provide disease prevention as well.

And yes their population is in incline, 3 guesses why?

HalfMoonRun you are on the money, that is exactly the cause. I made a set about the lost wetlands before (we've lost 85% world wide and some people still think they don't need to be restored despite all the flooding). Agriculture is also an issues as it could be far more sustainable, but as you know there is resistance to that as well.

And so the owls like many others pay a price despite the fact that they are irreplacable

Great casual & comfort styling. Another fantastic set. I love owls. When I am in Montréal, I fall asleep with a little Saw-whet Owl very close to my bedroom window. (Maybe I am wrong, but my understanding is that intense agriculture, alteration of nesting sites and destruction of wetlands are the main causes of the decline in the owl population.
Maybe you could tell me more sandra .)
