14 AUG 2019 ~ I am not one to stand off to one side as the world goes by !! If I can not be part of the group, I am at least up front, cheering them on !!
It's very clear now sweetie, thank you. I guessed something like that but I'm still careful with some idiomatic phrasal verbs in English, especially when the idiomatic structure looks alike French one, they may have an opposite meaning ;-)

LOL !! It's about being part of Life and not just an onlooker. There are people that get involved, whether it's in their work, charity, sports and their kids life and then others for whatever reason do only what is necessary, nothing more.
