Invented by the German engineer Arthur Scherbius at the end of World War I, it was a quintessential part in secret message transmission during World War II. As a general rule, dark inks go best with light ties and light inks play well with dark ties. Light with light and dark with dark can be subtle at best and invisible at worst, we'll contact you if it's a definite no-go.
