08 MAR 2020 ~ can't wait for Corned Beef & Cabbage, though this particular meal isn't from Ireland. It is an Irish-American invention since Pork was too expensive for the poor Irish immigrants, so brined beef was substituted. The official meal of Ireland is Irish Stew & Soda bread with tea and/or a pint or two !!
