My daughter's wedding is coming up in a couple of weeks. As I plan what to wear I think of what I would like - feathers and jade and lapis and swirling skirts and high, strappy shoes. Glitter and bling! Alas my days of high shoes are over and strappy never did work. The old bod needs to look a bit dignified and of course this dress ... well gravity rules and I could not wear it. Sigh - but I can dream!
Incogneato - beyond my neck. I am in way over my head! Still it is going well and will be done in three weeks. If I can remember where I checked, I should be able to reclaim my sanity then

Thanks all - Niwi, it has been a wild ride with this wedding coming up. Somehow this one is more work than the other two put together. Still - the shower went off great and we had a nice time. My dress is in these colours but not a peacock look - more a wild rain forest look. I like it a lot.

I can fully see you in a modified version of this beauty! You bring other shoes, just a bit of heel for photos, ceremony? I can imagine this pattern in a gorgeous textured brocade, maybe a neckline off the shoulders (just.) A small wrap with feathers and enjoy some jewelry!
