I went from a 2500 square foot two story house to a 1600 square foot two story Condo. When I lived in the Grass Valley area I bought an 1100 square foot house and when I moved to Rocklin my place is 980 square feet. I kept down sizing. This place is the only one with open concept. It's easy to keep clean ( when I am feeling okay ) I have been here for 12 years and I know you haven't moved. I guess we are in it for the long haul !! xoxo !! Niwi
My kitchen is separated for the living room. Rather small it had 1 door in each wall, and the sink and window on the 4th wall. Furnish it was so challenging thant I chose to block the doors to the living and to the bathroom, kept only the one to the entry. My home is not that big that I can't walk a little

I've had a couple of houses with a semi-open concept, never totally open !! It's a good thing I dislike seeing dirty dishes, etc, Hugs !!

Yes !! You should see my carpet !! It needs to be vacuumed thanks to Meesus shedding and crumbs !! I do keep up with the kitchen, I hate seeing dirty dishes, etc in the sink and crap on the counters. I have an open concept, so you can see the kitchen from the front door !! ;-)

Big Hugs & Thanks my Friends !! HalfMoonRun ~ I am all about comfort !! Niwi ~ it was quiet, peaceful and filled with lots of naps !! I am still so tired that any physical activity leaves me winded and shaky !! I did manage to fold and put away some towels and bed linens !! ;-)
