Hehe ! Thank you for the info Kate !
There are some places in France where people decorate their house every year. Once I visited a whole village turned to a christmas village. No fee, no houses to visite inside but the little streets were wonderful to stroll and there were a lot of visitors. It's a pity I can't remember the village's name, it was in Epernay area.
You are correct about paying to see the decorated house !! There are homes between 40 & 43rd streets in East Sacramento called the Fab Forties that are decorated by their owners & then opened for a Public tour for a fee of course !! Have always wanted to tour those houses !! This is the first year in a long time there is no inside tour, but the outside Christmas lights are still available !! Covid-19 hasn't stopped people from touring by foot, car or Horse drawn wagons. These homes are some of the most expensive in the Sacramento area. A little trivia from me to You !! Hugs !! Niwi
Oh! Wonderful ! It would be a dream for anyone... could bring some chairs and armchairs, a cofee table into this hall to enjoy the beautiful Christmas mood and deco (hehe joke ! with such an entry hall, many would pay to visit the rest of the house)
Hugs sweetie ! xoxo
Hugs Sweeties !! Doozer ~ With a foyer/entryway like this one it would take me a couple of days working non-stop !! Attached to this grand entryway would be a large house that would need decorating also !! I'd have to start right after Thanksgiving !! This set did take me awhile because of the tree decorations !! ;-) beautifulplace ~
