“Everyone was trying to sleep with him, don’t feel bad about it. Besides, I’m sure the anguish of loving me and me not knowing was too much for your teen heart!” Theo laughed. “That’s the night i started to piece it all together so I’m glad I remember it all.” He sat back on the couch, getting cuddly with her again. “Maybe I’ll invite him and have him give a toast.”
Catherine groaned, covering her face with the blanket with a laugh. "I try so hard to forget that I stooped low enough to do that but then you bring it up just to torment me all over again. That was not my best moment at Hogwarts. If only I had been drunk enough to not remember any of that evening."
“Oh I was definitely an idiot, Especially once i realized I really liked you too.” Theodore chuckled, pouring their tea and setting it back down on the table. “Specifically when you slept with Scorpius Malfoy and I was too dumb to figure out what i was feeling.”
"I have never in my life said anything bad about you. Except the fifty thousand times I called you an immature idiot in school when I was still stubbornly denying that I liked you. In my defense you kind of were an immature idiot," she stated with a grin, shrugging her shoulders.
“That was not back-handed. I’m saying that you’ve got it all.” Theo chuckled, leaning on the entryway to the kitchen while the tea was brewing. “I’m sure you were saying all sorts of backhanded stuff about me while we aren’t together.” He teased.
"Thank you? I think? That was a really weird back handed compliment. I don't know how to respond," she laughed, pulling the blanket around herself instead of getting up to follow him because #lazygirl.
Theodore laughed, getting up to put the kettle on after he saw the look on her face. "Oh please. In my line of work you meet very few girls with great personalities, intelligence and beauty. You're a real gem, that's why I'm locking you down now before you fully figure it out."
"You really know how to compliment a girl. No wonder your music sells so much," she grinned, eyeing her now empty teacup with a raised brow. "Probably whatever guy she matched with for the week. If we're lucky, he won't be a complete jerk like the rest of them."
“Oh please, don’t pretend like you aren’t also a pretty face. You just happen to be a normal, well rounded person.” He smirked, finishing her tea. “I wonder who her +1 will be.”
"You really do know how to pick them, don't you? That's what happens when you get distracted by the pretty faces," she laughed, nodding in agreement. "We both know she changes boyfriends before we can even learn their names."
“Oh I know exactly how awful it was. I think Lilah is in rehab more than she’s at her own house.” Theodore rolled his eyes at the choices of past Theo. “Oh, I’m not looking to set Arabella up with anyone at this point. Every so often she really impressed me but for the most part... she needs to spend some time alone.”
"I'm not judging your life choices but they were...quite interesting to say the least. I don't have the best judge of character though so I can't really say anything," she shrugged, leaning her head on his shoulder. "Arabella will date just about anyone at this point and it worries me. Do not listen to her."
"Any of my 'friends' who don't like you feel that way because they want to see me absolutely high out of my mind in a club at 4am, therefore they probably aren't actually my friends." Theodore held her close to him. "I haven't kept many of my friends around, honestly. My side of the wedding is looking pretty small, Arabella won't stop asking me to invite actors she somehow thinks I'm friends with so she can marry rich."
"It's cute that you think you have any say in this. I'm in charge, sorry," she laughed, shifting so she was snuggled up against his side instead of laying across the couch. "Your friends probably hate me."
