"Boarding school is all fun and games until you send off your 6 year old and she comes back 7. You'll miss her whole childhood, I know you don't want that." Tigerlily shrugged. "I wouldn't blame you, you'd end up in Durmstrang. As hot as I think that idea is, I'm glad you were sorted into Ravenclaw with me."
"That sounds like the logical thing to do but I'm not going to lie, my boarding school idea would help me sleep easier at night. Can't get in trouble if there's no trouble around," Em chuckled and shook his head. "I think I would have left school if I had been sorted into Hufflepuff. I wouldn't be able to live with the shame."
"How about, and please hear me out here, we just do a good job raising her. Instil a great sense of values and self respect, be examples of how you should treat the person you love. Just a thought." Tigerlily laughed, running her finger along the neckline of his shirt absentmindedly. "Of course you ended up in Ravenclaw, where else would you be? You're not egotistical enough for Gryffindor, I don't think you'd go as far to get your way as a Slytherin, and Hufflepuff... well... you're too hot."
"It's never too early to start worrying but no, we are not going to lock our daughter up in tower. We're going to send her to an obscure all girl boarding school and hope for the best," he grinned, raising a brow. "I like to think that ending up in Ravenclaw wasn't some sort of fluke."
“You have years to worry about that anyway. For now just focus on enjoying how tiny and sweet she is. You can always build her a tower and lock her in there?” Tigerlily teased. “I picked such a smart boy, didn’t I?”
“My father didn’t have to deal with raising a girl and the stress that comes from chasing boys away from them,” Em teased, chuckling softly. “I know what battles to pick and this is not one of them. You can have your girl brain moment.”
“Don’t you dare go bald on me. Your father still has his hair, thats a good sign.” Tiger laughed, shaking her head. “You’ll never understand girl logic, it’s best to just stop trying early.”
“I don’t even want to begin thinking about having to raise teenagers. I’m going to go bald from the stress of it,” he sighed dramatically, furrowing his brows. “My head is starting to hurt trying to figure out your girl logic so i’ll just drop it before I end up confused and crabby.”
“Sixteen year old girls are stupid too, I still think it’s very funny how we started.” Tigerlily laughed, tracing the outline of his bandage with her finger. “I don’t need them to like me, if they felt neutral I’d be fine with that too. It’s girl logic, don’t even try to understand if.”
“I thought we had already discussed that sixteen year old boys are really stupid and don’t think things out very well. It did get me a wife though so maybe I wasn’t a completely idiotic teenager,” he chuckled. “So you don’t to be friends with them, you just want them to like you? That is strange logic.”
“I went into your room, made out with you and then you told me you had a girlfriend, so you didn’t quite think that one through.” Tigerlily laughed and rolled her eyes playfully. “I don’t even wanna hangout with them, I just don’t like that they dislike me.”
“That hedgehog was the greatest thing because I am convinced it is the only way I got you to talk to me in the first place. Let’s face it, what girl doesn’t want to see a cute hedgehog. I will admit that my family is very messed up as i’m sure you’ve noticed,” he shrugged. “We can go on walks and push the kids in their stroller. It’ll be hilarious and they’ll really dislike you then.”
"Because you're also a little bit weird, you had a hedgehog at school. Who the hell has a hedgehog? I'll never understand how your family works and both of my parents were mentally ill, because you guys are kinda weird. But you're less weird than them and it's in an endearing way." Tigerlily teased him, nudging his side. "They can still invite me to their neighbourhood walks."
“That wink makes me feel like you’re just trying to male me feel better about you taking a dig at me,” he teased and raised a brow. “That’s because they’ve all had dozens of surgeries done to try and look attractive and then here comes the young mom that they all want to be, just casually minding her own business.”
"How dare you suggest I use my baking to socialize. Oliver already has plenty of friends at the park but I feel like the moms don't like me very much. I don't understand their weird problems. People who grew up rich are really weird, aside from you, of course." Tigerlily winked.
