Thanks so much @suburbhater. You helped a lot...and also if you look on your profile page...towards the bottom you can do the same uploading system. I did have an interesting time with the sizes of my files but I played with different categories of uploads...catwalk...photos...items...etc. Can't remember which one finally worked. If you know how to edit sets let me know.
To jcmp - I had to laugh when you said creating here is like driving a stick shift when you used to have a smooth transmission - you couldn't have described it any better!!!!!
jcmp - I am a dreadful teacher but let me try again. At the top of your pages there is your name. To the immediate right of your name is a tiny downward arrow. This gives you a drop down menu. On it is the option to "create or edit an album" - if you click on that then you can follow the instructions and add items out of your own computer. You have to name them and state that you own the rights and stuff but it is pretty easy once you are onto it. Then to use your own items you go to the Create page and on the left at the bottom is a My Pictures option. Click that and it will give you a short menu with My Albums on it - you will find your pictures there.
